	<title>Tupak the Shaman - Leader of The Dagdalenus</title>

	<description><![CDATA[<img src="http://features.cgsociety.org/gallerycrits/310436/310436_1200860371_small.jpg"><br><br>An Indian character, kind of an old maya Shaman. He is a spiritual leader and a wise elder. Character was created for the game our company is starting. The Surface Details of the shin were made in zbrush 3. I made some costum alphas for brushes in fireworks. The background is a matte painting. Photos of forests, painted over with some blooms and blurs for depth of field. Rendered in max 9 with v-ray ( displacement maps &amp; SSS used).<br />

	<title>Elder of the council - 2d </title>

This piece was about character concept design. This page of the book features an Elder of the Samandar High council. I focused on facial expression and personality. The technique i use is Sketching the charater by hand and Scanning it to photoshop as a basis. Used a picture of a plain book as base and added small sentences, painted dirt and bloches to make it shaggy to give that old look. <br />
